Overview
Glen Waldman leads Armstrong Teasdale’s Litigation practice in Miami. For more than 35 years, his civil trial practice has focused on complex business and commercial disputes, including real estate, construction, land use and probate litigation. As lead counsel, he has obtained numerous seven- and eight-figure jury verdict awards and defended claims of comparable size to zero verdicts. He has achieved similar results in non-jury proceedings and secured substantial international arbitration awards in commercial and reinsurance matters.
Glen’s trial work spans fraud, contract, partnership and construction disputes in the United States and internationally. His matters have also included litigation involving combustion turbines in El Salvador; the theft of a business involving a complicit bank in Colombia; and citrus canker in Homestead. In Pontiac, Michigan, he defeated claims arising from a major car manufacturer’s recall of an entire car line. He has also litigated a dispute over control of a large private equity firm in Delaware Business Court. These matters reflect the range of commercial conflicts within his trial practice, from disputes over business relationships and projects to contested corporate control.
Alongside his litigation work, Glen acts as outside corporate counsel to a number of businesses. In that role, he advises on and oversees contractual relationships, internal controls and procedures, and other legal and strategic decisions. Before Waldman Barnett combined with Armstrong Teasdale in 2022, he served as Waldman Barnett’s co-managing partner. He has also served as managing attorney of Armstrong Teasdale’s Miami office.
