Overview

Erin Edelman leads Armstrong Teasdale’s Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy practice. She represents debtors, secured lenders and unsecured creditors in business insolvency matters, helping them pursue recovery through bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court restructurings. Her work spans the transactions and disputes that arise in corporate restructuring, including preference and related litigation, loan workouts, asset acquisitions and divestitures, and the negotiation and documentation of capital and debt structures.

Erin’s broader litigation practice includes commercial and real estate matters. She represents lenders seeking remedies for breaches of promissory notes and guaranties. In real estate matters, she represents utility companies and handles litigation that includes condemnation proceedings and large-scale tax appeals. She also has experience across a variety of civil litigation matters.

Before joining Armstrong Teasdale, Erin practiced at another St. Louis firm, where she focused on general civil litigation. During law school, she served as a judicial extern to Judge Angela T. Quigless of the Missouri Court of Appeals for the Eastern District.
