Sehrish Siddiqui

Sehrish Siddiqui advises public companies on corporate finance, securities compliance and governance. Her capital markets work includes representing issuers and underwriters in public securities offerings. She has served as counsel to underwriters, agents and issuers in more than 100 initial public offerings, follow-on offerings and at-the-market programs involving NYSE- and Nasdaq-traded entities.

Sehrish works with national and international clients, including healthcare companies, real estate investment trusts, business development companies, retail and consumer product companies, and investment banks. She advises on registration and governance requirements under the Securities Act, Exchange Act and Investment Company Act of 1940, as well as broker-dealer compliance with applicable Financial Industry Regulatory Authority regulations. Her practice also encompasses private placements, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate matters.

In addition to her securities and governance work, Sehrish regularly advises clients on environmental, social and governance disclosures and the internal processes related to them. Before joining Bass, Berry & Sims, she interned in the SEC’s Office of the Inspector General, assisting with internal audits and investigations.
