Her connection to family law began while she was in college, when she worked as a summer law clerk in the Twelfth Judicial Circuit’s Family Law Division. In that role, Lindsey worked closely with the Guardian Ad Litem Program, Family Mediation Program and Domestic Violence Injunction office. She earned her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law in 2006 and her B.S. from the University of Central Florida in 2003. She was admitted to practice in Florida in 2007.

Lindsey is a member of the Family Law Section of both The Florida Bar and the American Bar Association. At Miami Law, she served as director of public relations for Miami Law Women and as an orientation mentor.

Her honors include recognition in Sarasota Magazine as a Diamond Winner for “Best Family Law Attorney” in its Best of Sarasota 2026 awards and among its “Elite Top Attorneys” from 2020 through 2024. She was listed for Family Law in The Best Lawyers in America® for 2027. In 2018, Legal Aid of Manasota gave her a Bronze Award recognizing 20 to 49 hours of pro bono legal services.
