Overview

Scott Lent chairs Arnold & Porter’s U.S. Antitrust/Competition practice group. His practice spans antitrust litigation, government investigations, transactions and counseling across industries that include media and entertainment, sports, telecommunications, building materials, pharmaceuticals and healthcare. His work frequently brings together questions of enforcement, regulation and market structure.

Scott represents clients in complex litigation and in civil and criminal investigations involving alleged price-fixing, tying, monopolization, no-poach agreements, price discrimination and other restraints of trade. His litigation experience includes class actions and the defense of civil cases that run alongside, or follow, government competition investigations.
