Overview

Mr. Miller’s practice centers on litigation involving community associations and the law governing common interest ownership. Since joining Becker in 2001, he has devoted much of his work to matters involving condominium, cooperative and homeowners associations. He has represented those associations, as well as developers, in a wide variety of litigation and other matters. His broader litigation practice also encompasses business and real estate disputes.

From 2005 through 2012, Mr. Miller led the firm’s collection and foreclosure practice statewide. During that period, he frequently spoke on Florida’s residential foreclosure crisis, the foreclosure process and creditors’ rights.

Mr. Miller also devotes a portion of his practice to employment law. He has defended clients against claims under Title VII and the Florida Civil Rights Act and has handled matters involving fair housing and public accommodations discrimination claims.
