Overview
Matt represents businesses, municipalities and individuals in commercial litigation. A member of the firm’s Business Litigation Service Group, he handles matters involving commercial contracts, construction disputes, real property claims and intellectual property. His clients include small and midsize businesses and construction companies, as well as individuals facing contract, construction and high-fee disputes.
Matt approaches litigation by examining how the law and the particular facts of a dispute intersect with a client’s business. He focuses on building a coherent account of those facts and helping clients understand the legal issues in the context of their operations.
Matt is co-managing partner of the firm’s Milwaukee and Brookfield offices, where he oversees a team of attorneys and staff. Outside his practice, he coaches Little League baseball and youth basketball.
