Robert C. Buchbinder

Rob Buchbinder advises clients across the transportation industry on legal and operational risks. His work includes compliance with state and federal law, strategic planning, emergency response and risk management, as well as insurance coverage and liability defense. He also handles litigation involving personal injury and property damage claims. His experience extends to regulatory matters, workers’ compensation and employment matters.

Rob’s first major trial was a trucking case against the lawyer who had taught his law school trial advocacy course. He won, an outcome he attributes to outworking opposing counsel. That early experience reflects the sustained effort and willingness to pursue opportunities that inform his approach to the practice.

Outside his legal work, Rob has served on the board of the King Art Complex since 2011, supporting its engagement with central Ohio through performing, cultural and educational arts programs. A longtime beekeeper and an emerging mosaic artist, he is also a New York Knicks fan, husband, father and grandfather.
